Event Promotion Tips
Develop Your Marketing Plan
We're not about to dive-in to the logistical considerations such as where you will stage your event, or the time of day, etc. We leave these local factors up to you. However, there is a bundle of information on the following pages that cover other aspects of staging and promoting a successful Parenting With Dignity® event.

Radio Advertising
Talk to your local radio stations. They probably have PSA (Public Service Announcements) time available and are required by law to air "x" number of PSA's every week... and we'll supply the commercial.
We have short-format (90 second) Parenting with Dignity® radio spots "in the can", and if PSA's are not viable, we can offer the station a way to earn money by having local businesses sponsor the spots and promote your event! To learn more, go here...
Pasta Dinner?
On a local level would be willing to sponsor a pasta dinner for your fundraising. It requires some ground-work from your group, but a few phone calls to local restaurants or civic minded companies usually yields good results. You will need to tell them the size of the group you expect and details of the event.
Holding a Raffle
Hold a raffle - get the men involved
Even though Mac's distinguished reputation is enough to fill most auditoriums, adding a "must be present to win" raffle can be a huge plus - and a way to get the men involved.
The primary financial benefactor of Parenting With Dignity is former NFL quarter back Drew Bledsoe. We will make available at cost, a jersey or helmet signed by Drew to be used as a raffle item for a lucky ticket holder. (Approximate cost is $190 and $180 + S&H respectively)
Note: PWD does not involve itself with sports memorabilia, but we recommend a company who will sell such items for charitable events at cost. Be sure to tell them that this is for a Parenting With Dignity event.
Memorabilia?
All items sold on Bledsoe Authenticated are the genuine article. Personally signed by Drew Bledsoe, each piece of memorabilia and every item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and an individually numbered Bledsoe Authenticated sticker.
